'점의 작가' 김썽정

김썽정 작가는 영롱한 색색의 무수한 점들로 화폭을 아름답게 물들이는 작가이다. 이 무수한 점들은 한 점 한 점 정밀하게 계산되어 나열된 것이다. 김썽정 작가의 온라인 전시는 “DE끌림 : 점의 울림을 보다”을 주제로 작가의 작품과 예술성을 강조하고, 관람객들에게 작품 속에서 느껴지는 끌림과 점의 울림을 경험하게 하는 것을 목표로 한다. 김썽정 작가는 한국의 전통 색상인 오방색을 담아낸 점들로 한국 민화에 나타나는 호랑이, 물고기, 부엉이, 닭, 호박 등의 소재를 사용하여 김썽정 작가만의 스타일로 풀어낸 작품들이 있다. 특히 이번 전시에서는 황금호박 시리즈의 작품들이 메인으로 전시되며, 동양화에서 호박은 줄기 넝쿨과 뿌리가 끊임없이 이어져 무성하게 뻗어나가 마디마다 꽃과 열매 를 맺어 자손의 번창과 장수, 복을 의미한다. 이미 '호박' 이라는 소재는 미술계에서 전세계적으로 각광받고 있으며, 호박으로 유명한 외국의 작가로는 대표적으로 쿠사마 야요이가 있다. "끌림으로부터 점의 울림"이라는 기획 의도는 작가의 작품이 어떻게 관람객들에게 강력한 끌림과 점의 울림을 전달하는지를 강조하고, 관람객들에게 새로운 시각과 감성적인 경험을 제공하고자 한다. 이를 통해 작가의 예술적인 메시지와 작품의 아름다움을 관람객들에게 보다 깊이 있게 전달할 수 있을 것이다.
